EX_MACHINA: Turing, Wittgenstein, and Wetware

The movie seems to grapple with both sides of codicalism rather effectively: substrate (yin) and languages (yang). And the influence of Wittgenstein (the name of the “mad” scientist’s company is “Bluebook”) is evident.

Spoiler: In the end, the human intelligence is trapped (a fly in a fly-bottle?) and the synthetic intelligence is freed.
